We advertise on all the main property portals - Rightmove, Zoopla and PrimeLocation as well as our own website and other local portals. Should you see a property you’re interested in then give our friendly lettings team a call to arrange a viewing - they will be happy to take your details and answer any questions you may have and advise how the process works.
One you have found a property you would like and the landlord is happy to proceed we will then ask for a holding deposit (to be secured against your first month’s rent?) and your reference fees. Please see our Tenant Fees for all the information that relates to these fees. Once received we will commence referencing to verify your suitability and once complete the tenancy paperwork will be sent to you for signing. Prospective tenants must satisfy our referencing process which includes a credit check and comprehensive referencing which includes an employers reference, current and/or previous landlord, photographic ID and a recent utility bill confirming your current residential address. We will also confirm you have the right to live and work in the UK via a Right to Rent check.
You will be asked to pay a security deposit of five weeks of the rent to be held against any damages that you may cause during the period of tenancy. The deposit can also be held against non payment of rent. The deposit will be held in a government backed tenancy deposit scheme, where Daisy Property are managing the property this will be held with the Deposit Protection Custodial Scheme. At the end of the tenancy the deposit will be returned according to the DPS regulations.
